When do you think we will find out what Dept 56 is making for next year, any buildings????wish I knew someone who works for them, is there anyway we can find out??????
somewhere on this site it a reference that the backyard scene with Black Bart will be one of the items...i forget where it is, but it's somewhere...also a prototype pic of what it will look like...the CS house guy has the 'ins' with D56, so likely he'll post the answers ..he's good at letting us know what's new...not so much with what is/ is going to be retired....the accuracy rate there is rather low :}

hey everybody. I know I have missed alot of the discussions for the year, and I hate that I did! I have been collecting ACS items for a long time. This year however, I realized how great the Dept. 56 items are. I bought the Chop Suey palace, Pulaski's Candy store, and was lucky enough to find Ralphie's house this year. Is sears and the ACSHouse the only place you can find them? About what is an average price for buying a building in sears? Thanks for your help, I look forward to this year's holidays already!! It never comes fast enough.
hay there some_clodhopper right before christmas time every year the buildings are 39.99. and right after christmas some times you can find them for 19.99. also all of the other things that go with the a christmas story house stuff.the only thing that i need to complet my a christmas story set is the TOWN HALL thats it.so if you ever see that one around place post here thanks.
